About me
I first discovered my love for children’s books by studying and collecting them. Later, while studying Design and Art Theory at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, I had the opportunity to explore the world of children’s book illustration in greater depth. Not long after, I began working in children’s publishing, until I realized that I wanted to be part of this special field as a creator myself.
In my work, I am mainly inspired by the small, seemingly ordinary yet meaningful moments of everyday life. I enjoy highlighting the subtle details that reveal a character’s personality. I believe that the most compelling stories are often hidden in these details—in a gesture, a glance, or a fleeting mood.
My goal is to support other creators and exciting projects with my knowledge, creativity, and enthusiasm. Alongside individual commissions, I have had the pleasure of working with Móra Publishing House and Pagony Publishing.
Special Prize at the Aranyvackor Competition
Our picture book project about the adventures of Ellington the carrier pigeon received a special prize from Manó Könyvek at the Aranyvackor competition. Created in collaboration with fellow storyteller @jeg_madar, the project’s illustrations were also exhibited at the Petőfi Literary Museum in Budapest.
It was a joy to see Ellington’s story catch the publisher’s attention and to have our collaboration recognised in this way.
